My Label Maker

I found out about the coolest label maker from a YouTube channel I subscribed to. The woman, Andrea Mills, was extremely organized, something I strive for, and she showed about her label maker. That might seem like a funny thing to be excited about, but I believe labels can really help a space feel organized. I didn’t have a label maker, so the one she showed on her channel was just as good as the next one. It is made by Brother, and unfortunately, they don’t make it any longer. They do make other label makers, but not this particular one. I found a good deal on Ebay, and after I received it, installed the software, I was off labeling!

I use it to label my seed containers, my essential oil roller ball blends, my jars of homemade spices mixes, and many other things. I think my husband was not convinced it was worth it, however, after he recently got his HAM radio set up, he asked me to make him a few labels to help him out, and to ‘decorate’ his space.

The label maker is wonderful! This one can use fonts that I already have on my computer. It can print pictures, only in black and white, and has been a great tool to add to my studio organization! I think my husband is glad I purchased it after all.

My name is Liz. I live in the downtown area of Salt Lake City with my husband and two young kids. We strive to find a simple way of living, working to provide for our family on our own land. My husband is an architect, while I do the heavy lifting of taking care of our home and the family. We have beehives, a garden, and add more every year. Come along with us on this journey as we show what we can do in an urban environment, preparing for the end of the world.
